Day 1: Hanoi Arrival
Welcome to Vietnam! You will be greeted by our tour guide upon arrival in Hanoi, Vietnam’s capital, which celebrated its 1000 year anniversary in 2010. With its emphasis on the arts and learning, the local law stipulates that buildings in Hanoi remain small, simple and in harmony with nature.
Check in your hotel then you’ll have a restful overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi City Tour
The full-day tour takes you around Hanoi’s highlight sites including the Ho Chi Minh Complex: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and his stilt house, Presidential Palace, and the One Pillar Pagoda. You also have a chance to visit the historic University – The Temple of Literature, which dates back to the 11th century; learn about Buddhist practices in a serene lakeside pagoda. Visit the famous Ethnology Museum. Back to the Old Quarter to walk through the narrow streets that were famous for its specialized craft-making guilds, the guild streets are named for their product or location and still bear such names nowadays; and then join in a unique water puppet show that features the Viet folklores and culture. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 3: Hanoi – Ninh Binh
After breakfast, depart from your hotel at 8:00 to Ninh Binh Province. Today we will have chance to learn about the national heroes Dinh and Le who founded the ancient capital of Hoalu, dated the 10th century; we glide down a narrow stream in a small rowboat and enjoy a ride through Tam Coc area, which is shaded by steep limestone cliffs that jut out of the blazing green rice paddies. Overnight in Ninh Binh.

Day 4: Ninh Binh – Halong Bay
After breakfast, at around 8.00 am, we are ready to be picked up to Halong Bay. On arrival, you are welcomed on boat and have set lunch while cruising in the bay. Depends on which cruise you choose, the detailed itinerary will basically include a visit to Sung Sot grotto, kayaking (extra option at most of the boat, some boat has kayaking included), swimming in crystal water and enjoy the landscape or relaxing at the sundeck. Dinner and overnight on the cruise.

Day 5: Halong Bay – Hanoi
Wake up on the bay to the sounds of waves, fresh air, and breeze to welcoming the new day. After breakfast, visit a beautiful limestone grotto then walk back to the boat for a final glimpse of Ha Long Bay while cruising back to the dock. The boat arrives at the harbor by 11.30am and your driver is waiting to bring you back to Hanoi. Drop off at your place in Hanoi.
