DESCRIPTION

Day 1: WELCOME TO VIETNAM - HO CHI MINH CITY ARRIVAL

Your Vietnam adventure begins with your arrival in Ho Chi Minh. Your private driver will meet you at the airport, holding a signboard with your name. He will escort you to your accommodation right in the heart of the city. You can easily explore the city at your own pace or relax at the hotel after the flight.

Day 2: EXPLORE THE BEAUTY OF THE MEKONG DELTA (B/L) 

Kickstart your day with a hearty breakfast, and a trip to the Mekong Delta follows. The guide will meet you at the hotel lobby around 7:15-7:30 am, and you will head to My Tho, which lies on the left side of the Mekong River.
Upon arrival, board the sampan and cruise down the river around the four beautiful islands, known as Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise Islands. Stop at Unicorn Island, walk around the country lanes, and see the orchards. Visit fruit plantations and enjoy tropical fruits and folk song music performed by the local people.
Then take a hand-rowed sampan through Thoi Son canal and immerse yourself in the beauty of the countryside. Visit family workshops and honey-bee farms, and taste some honey tea and coconut candies.
Refuel yourself with a traditional Vietnamese lunch, and later cycle around the Tan Thach village, and meet the local villagers to experience the local daily life in the Mekong Delta. If you are not keen on a cycling trip, enjoy a cool breeze and a relaxing time in a hammock. Afterward, you will get back to your accommodation.

Day 3: EXPLORE THE MAZE OF CU CHI TUNNELS - FLY TO DANANG- TRANSFER TO HOIAN.

Have breakfast at the hotel and depart for Cu Chi tunnels. The trip will take approximately one and a half hours drive. Upon arrival, you will have a short introduction followed by an introductory video about how the tunnels were constructed, and how the people survived in the harsh conditions of wartime.
Then, spend your time exploring the remaining area and tunnel systems, which included the living areas, kitchens, and bedrooms side by side with other martial facilities like storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers. All this was to help people living inside the tunnels meet their basic needs. Besides, there are many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels for security purposes during the war. Afterward, special tea and cassava (guerilla food during the war) will be served.
Then you will return to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh to pick up the luggage and our driver will take you to the airport for your flight to Da Nang. Upon arrival at Da Nang Airport, the driver will meet you there and transfer you to your hotel in Hoi An.

Day 4: BOATING AND COOKING AT HOI AN'S COUNTRYSIDE (B/L)

Have breakfast at the hotel and meet your guide around 8:30 am. You will head to the local food market to shop like a local and buy the ingredients for your lunch. Then head to the Cam Thanh eco-village and discover the beauty of the countryside while you are wandering around. Then we will take you on a fun cruise down the river through the palm forest on the unique Vietnamese basketboat. Have a stop for a fishing experience in a local way, after which we will get back to the village and learn how to cook Vietnamese meals, which you will have for lunch.
Have some rest after lunch and get back to your hotel around 13:00.

Day 5: HOI AN LEISURE DAY (B)

is to rent a bicycle at the hotel and cycle around the town towards the riverside or the beach. At the beach, you will find many small cafes where you can relax with a fresh fruit drink after swimming. The water in the sea is warm and calm.
You could visit a tailor shop which could make you and your loved ones a new piece of clothes, bag or shoes overnight.
In the evening we recommend you walk around the Old Town area, which looks charming when the shops light their lanterns. You and would feel like being in a fairy tale. And don’t skip the colorful performances organized on the street in the evening.

Day 6: TRAVEL FROM HOI AN TO HANOI (B) FLIGHT INCLUDED

Relish the remaining moment in Hoi An before your private driver escorts you to the airport to take the flight to Hanoi. When you arrive at Noi Bai International Airport, your driver will pick you up and transfer you to your accommodation in Hanoi's Old Quarter. The rest of the time is free for leisure. Day 7: HANOI SIGHTSEEING (B/L) 
8h00 – 8h30: Our Tour guide and our Bus pick up at your hotel and start to discover Hanoi City
08h45: Arrive at Tran Quoc Pagoda located on Golden Fish Island in West Lake. It is the oldest pagoda in Hanoi built in the 6th century.
09h30: Visit Ho Chi Minh Complex, the final resting place of Vietnamese great father or Uncle Ho. You have a chance to see the embalmed body of Ho Chi Minh then walk around the garden to see 2 houses where he lived & worked from 1954 to 1969.
Then visit One Pillar Pagoda where worships the Goddess of Mercy – It is the most unique pagoda in the world
- Should dress modestly by covering from shoulders to knees when visiting Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, temples, pagodas…
- Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed on Mondays and Fridays. But still can take picture of the Mausoleum and visit around that area
- Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed at least 2 months (15th June -15th August) for the annual maintaining.
11h15: Visit Vietnam Ethnology Museum to learn about the culture of 54 ethnic groups living in the whole country of Vietnam.
Special Note: We will visit Vietnamese Women’s Museum instead of Vietnam Ethnology Museum closed on Mondays
12h45: Have lunch at our restaurant. You have an opportunity to enjoy Vietnamese cuisine. Vegeterian foods are available
14h00-14h15: Continue to visit Temple of Literature – the first university of Vietnam, The Temple of Literature (Van Mieu Quoc Tu Giam) is one of the most attractive tourist spots in Northern Vietnam. The Temple of Literature was founded in 1070.
15h15: Keep going to visit Hoa Lo Prison, the prison was built by the French, from 1886 to 1901, when Vietnam was still a part of French Indochina. The French called the prison Maison Centrale. The prison was called “A Hell on Earth” and now the prison is like a war museum for those who want to understand more about the war against France of Vietnamese people.
16h30: Our Bus take you back to the Hotel. We finish the trip!

Day 8: EXPLORE THE NATURAL WONDER OF THE WORLD - HALONG BAY (B/L/D) 

In the morning, check out of the hotel, and get picked up by the Cruise team. Take the most scenic route to reach Halong Bay, taking you across the Red River Delta with emerald green rice paddies stretching for as far as the eyes can see.
On arrival at the pier, you will board the cruise and enjoy the fantastic views of limestone rocks and the karst grottoes. Have an utterly delicious seafood lunch and enjoy the time at the sundeck exploring the Bay.
The cruise will stop in a secret place where you will spend time kayaking or swimming, so you can explore the karst grottoes closer. Towards the evening, you will return to the boat for an early dinner, followed by some time at leisure. You can optionally attend the activities taking part on the boat or just relax.

Note: In case of bad weather (the boat is not allowed to push off or not allowed to overnight in the sea), the Ha Long bay tour could be cancelled without notice. We will consider other replacement tours or a refund based on the specific circumstances.

Day 9: HALONG BAY - BACK TO HANOI (B/BRUNCH)

Rise early today to view the sunrise at the wonder of nature with breakfast served in the dining room. A Tai Chi class on the sun deck will awaken your mind and muscles.
Then head off to visit the limestone cave full of stalagmites and stalactites. After your exploration return to the boat to check out and enjoy the brunch while the cruise is sailing back to the harbor. Later you will be transferred to your accommodation in Hanoi.

Day 10: TIME TO SAY GOODBYE - HANOI DEPARTURE (B)

Relish a healthy breakfast on the final day of your trip to Vietnam. Complete the hotel check-out formalities, after which you can visit the local markets to buy souvenirs for your loved ones. Later your private driver will transfer you to the airport to take your flight back home.
